In close cooperation with the workshop, our specialists compile detailed and well-founded reports about each vehicle to document the latter’s condition. Any subsequent costs are thus being made transparent and, above all, calculable. Alongside the scrupulous assessment of engineering, looks and history, special attention is being paid to originality. Research in the Corporate Archives, to which only staff of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Service Center has access, is a major precondition for this. On the basis of the completely archived data, it is for example possible to determine the condition of a vehicle on the day of its delivery. In this way any subsequent modifications to the vehicle, which may influence its sales value, can be verified at any point in time.
