In December 1926, industrialist Oscar Henschel bought this two-seater roadster with supercharged engine. From 1924 he stood at the head of the locomotive, commercial vehicle and later aircraft manufacturer Henschel & Sohn in Kassel. Other prominent owners of a 24/100/140 hp Mercedes-Benz were the kings of Afghanistan and Bulgaria, politician Gustav Stresemann, and juggler Enrico Rastelli.
