The Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC was an S-Class coupe from the 126 series and one of the predecessors of the CL-Class. About 30,000 manufactured units made it the best-selling model of the SEC coupe series introduced in 1981. The two-door cars were exclusive long-distance vehicles designed to offer safety, ride comfort and generous space for two persons and their luggage.
