The Mercedes-Benz O 305 was one of the first generation of standard regular-service buses- standardization of the bus models used for scheduled service had begun in 1967. The exhibited vehicle did more than 600,000 miles of service for Stuttgart’s local public transport company (SSB) from 1980 to 1995.
