Celebrating 30 years.

Departing from five continents, 29 teams will travel to the home of the automobile to enjoy one spectacular golf event. From 30 September to 5 October, the MercedesTrophy World Final 2019 takes place in Stuttgart. Golfers worldwide have participated in local MercedesTrophy tournaments throughout the season. The best of them qualified for the respective National or Regional Final, and the victorious three from each of those tournaments advanced to the ultimate level: the MercedesTrophy World Final.

The golf courses played during the event are Schloss Nippenburg, designed by Mercedes-Benz Brand Ambassador Bernhard Langer, and Stuttgart Solitude. In 2019, the MercedesTrophy World Final celebrates its 30th edition.

Challenged by Bernhard Langer.

Mercedes-Benz Brand Ambassador Bernhard Langer is a special guest at the MercedesTrophy World Final 2019. The two-time Masters winner challenges the participants with the Beat Bernhard Langer competition to play their tee shot closer to the hole than legendary Bernhard.

On Thursday, Bernhard Langer joins a casual evening function on stage, giving insights into his outstanding career including more than 110 titles as a professional golfer. Participants will meet a true legend of the sport and can expect some valuable tips from Bernhard’s expertise.

Drive to the Major.

This special competition connects professional with amateur golf and is played at MercedesTrophy tournaments around the world. It challenges participants to place their tee shot closest to the miniature lane running along the middle of the fairway on a dedicated hole.

The national or regional winners of Drive to the Major advance to a qualification tournament, playing for a spot in the Monday After Event at The Open. During the latest edition, this meant playing Royal Portrush just hours after Shane Lowry had been awarded the Claret Jug. Drive to the Major is also played at the MercedesTrophy World Final, so for one guest the journey to Stuttgart will continue as a journey to Royal St George’s.

A unique journey to Stuttgart.

Three rounds of golf on two of the most beautiful golf courses around Stuttgart, a friendly and fair competition between 29 teams from all over the globe and an elaborate and memorable support programme: participating in the MercedesTrophy World Final is a stunning once-in-a-lifetime experience for every golf-enthusiastic customer.

Team Slovakia will try to defend the Nations Cup, but 28 teams will make that a tough competition. We wish all the players a successful and joyful time in Stuttgart!
