MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 W04 (ex Hamilton), 2013

Become a part of the Silver Arrow era.
The MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team presented the vehicle for the 2013 Formula 1 season on February 4th at the circuit in Jerez de la Frontera in Southern Spain. Over the course of the season, the F1 W04 was driven by Nico Rosberg and his new team mate Lewis Hamilton. And now we are offering you this gem to purchase. A highlight of the Mercedes-Benz racing myth.

Lewis Hamilton is the first British Mercedes-Benz works driver since Stirling Moss back in 1955. Together, Nico and Lewis won three of the 2013 season’s races, made it to the podium nine times and gained eight pole positions. MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS finished the season as runner-up in the constructors’ world championship. As significant changes to the rules were planned for 2014, the technicalities in 2013 remained almost identical compared with the previous year. For this reason, the basic concept of the F1 W04 represented a refined evolution of the previous season’s vehicle.

The aerodynamic design philosophy was optimised by a new front wing design, consisting of five elements, and a second-generation Coanda exhaust at the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle relies on thrust
arm suspension at the front and strut rod Suspension at the rear with the objective of optimising tyres’ service life and performance. In contrast to its predecessor, the F1 W04 does not feature a stepped nose cone. It is concealed by a vanity Panel which offers minor advantages as part of aerodynamics tests.
