The sun is shining from a blue sky almost throughout this year’s Hamburg-Berlin-Klassik Rally. Sun cream becomes the most important accessory. Occasionally, it shines almost too brightly, causing some participants in open-top cars to close the roof from time to time so as not to be exposed to the heat and sunlight without protection. By now, many teams have noticed that the participants from the Far East are driving with the greatest amount of precision. Something that becomes obvious in orientation, for example. Problems with the route? They are not having too many. However, in some of the less clear stages, they do have the odd classic on their tail, allowing the two friendly gentlemen to safely lead them through the traffic. A very likeable, human navigation system.
