The smart design ist puristic and very progressive. It mirrors what smart stands for: FUN.ctional design. The brand is defined by the two poles – heart and brain. The typical attributes like the silhouette with its ultrashort overhangs, the clear lines and surfaces, and the friendly face were transferred into a new era. The bonnet underlines the new sculptural features of the shapes, featuring a sporty and powerfully downward sweep between the headlamps. The current smart features the so-called “one and a half box” design, an evolutionary development of the outline.
