2021 London E-Prix: Back on the podium

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is good at producing a constant stream of fresh challenges for drivers and teams. That proved to be the case again this season for both Stoffel Vandoorne and Nyck de Vries, who experienced a tough run of three races out of the points before the London race weekend.

Setback in the streets of the Principality.

Motorsport is characterised by highs and lows, and this was especially apparent on Saturday in an extremely tense and eventful Monaco E-Prix. The race was contested on the Grand Prix Circuit for the first time in the history of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

"It's been great to see Formula E return to the streets of Monaco," said Team Principal Ian James afterwards. "Racing in a place like this is always special, and it's one of the many reasons that makes the series so unique. This Monaco E-Prix delivered some amazing racing to the fans."

Valencia 2021: Spanish debut full of surprises.

Last weekend, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship made its first ever stopover in Spain. Hosting the event was the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, located just outside of Valencia. And what a spectacular race debut on Spanish soil this turned out to be for the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team!

"Going into this race weekend, we expected an action-packed event," said team boss Ian James at the end of a crazy Saturday afternoon. "But if anyone in the team had told me it would go like this, I certainly wouldn't have believed it." But let's start from the beginning...

Rome 2021: An emotional rollercoaster

On the second race weekend of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team would perhaps fittingly experience its own rollercoaster ride of highs and lows.
