Nyck kicked off his second season in the all-electric racing series with his first win in late February 2021. Five months and 20 days later, he was crowned the first World Champion in the history of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the season finale in Berlin. The Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team successfully completed official testing for Season 8 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on Thursday in Valencia.

Facing fresh challenges in Season 8

The Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team presented their driver line-up and updated livery design for Season 8 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship ahead of winter testing in Valencia.

First Ever All-Electric Double World Champions

After a setback in the title fight in the first race on Saturday, the reward for all the team's hard work came to fruition on Sunday as Mercedes-EQ rounded off only its second season in the all-electric racing series by clinching both the drivers' and teams' World Championships.

Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team set for Berlin season finale

The Team will bring their second season in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship to a close at the weekend with two home races in Berlin.
