Worldwide more than 90,000 people, in Germany about 35,000have joined one of the brand clubs, which are officially recognized by Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz Club Management provides support for 80 clubs worldwide in which brand enthusiasts come together and exchange experiences. By virtue of their enthusiasm for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, these club members are ambassadors for the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Since 2006 the members of the European Mercedes-Benz brand clubs are able to provide ID by way of their ClubCard,which entitles them to a number of tangible benefits: participation in exclusive events and visitor programs, free admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, discounts in the museum shop as well as in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Online Store, and subscription to the Mercedes-Benz Classic Magazine. Furthermore, external partners including restaurants as well as leisure and cultural event organizers offer attractive discounts for ClubCard holders.
As a member of a brand club in Germany, vehicle owners are entitled to individual discounts on certain replacement parts at selected Mercedes-Benz sales and service outlets and Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers. What’s more, in the ClubLounge they have online access to the Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), which helps in the search for replacement parts and their availability. Club members receive a ten percent discount when they purchase a classic car insurance policy from our partner Mercedes-Benz Bank.
The highlight of the year’s events is the Mercedes-Benz & Friends club trip. The tour, which lasts several days, boasts exclusive accommodation, fascinating routes, and an exciting program with Mercedes-Benz brand ambassadors. Places are limited to 100 participating vehicles and the tour is in great demand by the club members. The Club Management also offers attractive packages for Classic Events such as the Classic Days Schloss Dyck, consisting of admission tickets and hospitality in the exclusive Mercedes-Benz area.
The Mercedes-Benz & Friends 2015 club trip kicked off at the Interalpen-Hotel in Tirol, near Seefeld. The route led though the Alpine passes of South Tirol to the Adriatic coast. In Chioggia harbour participants boarded the brand new luxury liner “Le Lyrial”. After one day aboard the liner, the destination for the third day was the Adria International Raceway, where regularity rallies and taxi rides around the ring awaited participants. The final stop and the highlight of the tour was Venice, where the luxury liner “Le Lyrial” was welcomed by spectacular fireworks.
