Senior Consultant.

Requirements.

You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a commercial, technical or scientific focus. In addition you can prove that you have at least three years’ experience as a Project Manager in consulting. At least two years’ experience in the automotive industry would also be desirable, in mechanical engineering or similar branches of industry or in the specialist areas of marketing, sales, R&D, production, purchasing or strategy. You bring with you a high abstraction ability for complex topics and think in a solution-oriented way. Over and above this we expect team skills, flexibility and resilience, fluent German and English plus excellent communication and presentation skills when speaking to decision makers.

Duties.

The Mercedes-Benz Inhouse Consulting team advises all specialist departments on strategic corporate issues with a focus on product development, production and sales. As a Senior Consultant you take on consulting teams’ partial project management in projects at Top Management level. In so doing you work on concepts, content and strategy, as well as being responsible for team leadership and communication with Senior Management. The project work includes identifying optimisation opportunities in the business system. You prepare solutions, concepts, methods and new tools for increasing strategic competitiveness in close cooperation with the authorising specialist department.
