Lungotevere Vaticano.

The trip starts on the "Lungotevere Vaticano," a boulevard running through Rome along the Tiber River. If you head out in the evening, you'll catch some truly incredible views of the city.


Ponte Sant’Angelo.

Ponte Sant’Angelo, originally known as the Aelian Bridge or Pons Aelius, straddles the Tiber River between downtown Rome and the city's reconstructed mausoleum, the imposing Castel Sant'Angelo.



Located just east of the Roman Forum, the Colosseum is one of Rome's most popular tourist attractions. With a capacity of 50,000, the Colosseum was once the largest amphitheater in the world. It was also the site of gladiator fights and other public spectacles.


Villa di Massenzio (Circus of Maxentius).

Emperor Maxentius ordered the construction of the Villa and Circus of Maxentius as part of several buildings erected between 306 and 312 A.D. along Rome's "Via Appia". These ancient buildings are located between the basilica and catacombs of San Sebastiano and the magnificent Tomb of Caecilia (built towards the end of the Roman Republic) that towers over the hill to the east.



Nemi is a small city near Rome, located in the middle of the Alban Hills ('Colli Albani"). This picturesque town boasts incredible views of the lake of the same name.

Lake Nemi is a small circular volcanic lake in the Lazio region of Italy. It is named after Nemi, the region's largest city towering high above the lake.
