Introducing Startupbootcamp: a global family of accelerators.

A network across the globe.

Mercedes-Benz is one of the major partners, and an avid supporter, of Startupbootcamp. Startupbootcamp is a global family of industry-focused accelerators that connects start-ups with the most relevant and influential network in their industry. Its goal is to help ideas take shape and grow to a global scale by giving entrepreneurs direct access to partners, investors and mentors. Startupbootcamp was founded in Copenhagen in 2010 and has since expanded rapidly.

From FinTech and Smart Cities to the IoT, energy and transportation: Startupbootcamp has ten programmes in eight cities, and a mentor and alumni network in over 30 countries across the globe. Programmes are currently active in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Eindhoven, London, Barcelona, Singapore and Istanbul, with other cities and vertical programmes to be announced soon. Of the 210 global Startupbootcamp alumni, 74% have raised an average of over €500k.

Berlin as the capital of “smart transportation and energy”.

The Berlin programme, founded in 2012, has been dedicated to the topic of smart transportation and energy – the connected and efficient mobility of people and goods since last year. In addition to the accelerator in Berlin, Startupbootcamp plans on launching a sister programme with the same industry focus in San Francisco in 2015.
