    C 111 – timeless and visionary

    Special exhibition: C 111 – timeless and visionary - until 15 November 2015

    The many-sided story of the legendary C 111: this automotive icon of the 1970s evolved from being an experiment with the Wankel rotary engine to becoming a record-breaking vehicle and the fastest diesel in the world. For the first time, this special exhibition shows every stage of the evolution of the 'technology platform' C 111.

    'jazzopen stuttgart' at the Mercedes-Benz Museum 4 to 7 July 2015

    Foot-tapping jazz against a stunning architectural backdrop is promised by four concerts on the open-air stage at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Come along between 4 and 7 July 2015 to experience Caro Emerald, Mario Biondi, Bob Geldof, Carl Verheyen, Mariza, Marcus Miller and Joshua Redman. 5 July brings the hands-on involvement of our 'Jazz for kids' event, followed by a series of musical animated film workshops.

    Cars & Coffee – a rendezvous point for all fans of classic and 'young classic' cars - every Sunday from 5 July until 6 September

    Owners of classic cars of whatever vintage are invited to show off their treasures - regardless of the brand - on the slope in front of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The Mercedes-Benz Lounge with its special atmosphere is the right place for talking shop with like-minded car enthusiasts.

    Yoga on the roof terrace - 16 July 2015

    Enjoy a relaxed and revitalising evening of yoga on the roof terrace (in poor weather in the 'Casino' restaurant on level 8). This course, held in a very special environment, will be led by a professional trainer.

    Civil wedding ceremonies - 18 July 2015

    Marriage in mind? The Mercedes-Benz Museum offers a venue with unique architecture, fascinating exhibitions and an unparalleled atmosphere. Once a year, the top floor of the building (level 8, 'Casino' restaurant) is transformed into a registry office. On this day, couples have an opportunity to exchange vows in a delightful atmosphere with a view of the vineyards.

    'Film rolling, for all movie fans!' An interesting and varied programme awaits you against the impressive backdrop of the museum (open air stage) – from the latest blockbusters to popular classics. Specials such as the European Outdoor Film Tour will once again be part of the programme.

    Summer holiday programme - 30 July to 14 August 2015

    An opportunity for interested children to take part in a two-day programme on 'Mobility yesterday, today and tomorrow – let's get going', at the Mercedes-Benz Museum and the Württemberg State Museum.

    The fascination of design - every Saturday and Sunday

    Immerse yourself in the world of automotive design. This hands-on weekend activity allows kids and teenagers to experience the interplay between form, colour and materials.

    • Every Sat and Sun from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

    10 years of the Mercedes-Benz Museum

    2016 will see us celebrating this ten-year milestone in style: memorable events, fascinating special exhibitions, vehicles that only rarely see the light of day and lots, lots more. All focusing, of course, on the Museum and on the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand. We shall be sure to provide full details of what’s happening in plenty of time. We don’t want to give away too many secrets at this stage, but one thing is certain: our anniversary activities will be something very special.

    Mercedes-Benz Museum.

    The Mercedes-Benz Museum is the only museum in the world that can document in a single continuous timeline over 130 years of auto industry history from its very beginnings to the present day. On nine levels and covering a floor space of 16,500 square metres, the museum presents 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits.
