Sinister trio.

This sinister trio certainly live up to their name: the three robbers attack coaches and rob travellers. One day on one of their raids, they take the little orphan girl Tiffany away with them. Their encounter with Tiffany causes the trio to have a change of heart: are there perhaps other unhappy children out there? The robbers begin a search, build a splendid castle and, finally, set up an entire city for children. Published by Tomi Ungerer in 1963, this lovable story has entranced countless generations of children.

Following the successful premiere last year, Mercedes-Benz Museum and Stuttgart Opera are continuing their cooperation with another “seat cushion concert”. “The Three Robbers” by Tomi Ungerer was already on the programme at Stuttgart Opera in January and February. The Grand Hall of the Mercedes-Benz Museum will now host two more performances of “The Three Robbers” seat cushion concert on 12 May 2018: at 2 pm and 3.30 pm.
