The holiday program.
Hunting for stories with a camera: the Württemberg State Museum 'Junges Schloss' and the Mercedes-Benz Museum jointly invite children to take part in this creative adventure on their summer holidays in 2017. The motto of the holiday program is 'I can see something you can't see. Become a story finder/inventor!' and marks the third time the two institutions have collaborated.
Participation in the holiday program costs €20 per child. This includes two lunches in addition to the workshops.

Become a story finder.
'I can see something you can't see. Become a story finder/inventor!': that is the title of this year's summer holiday program jointly organised by the Württemberg State Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum. From 27 July until 18 August 2017, children between 7 and 12 years of age can spend a whole day exploring each of the two museums and turning their personal stories into photos and films.
The participating children between 7 and 12 years of age spend one day from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at each of the museums. At the Württemberg State Museum, the young story finders/inventors go on a journey of discovery through the exhibition and make a short film. At the Mercedes-Benz Museum, there is a rally through the permanent exhibition, along with a photo workshop. The boys and girls are thus able in two days to tell their highly personal museum stories with the camera and then take the results home with them.
Extended by one week.
Due to the great success of the collaboration that started three years ago, the holiday program has been extended by one week this summer.
