    Journey and stay.

By car.

The IAA parking spaces are signposted as you approach the fairgrounds. The police direct the traffic dynamically depending on how full the approach roads and car parks are. So it makes sense not to approach the fairgrounds and car parks independently or using your own navigation system. Please observe the IAA signs and obey the instructions of the organising staff.

Please note: The IAA visitor car parks are outside the environmentally protected zone and can therefore be used without an emission sticker (exception: Gleisdreieck car park).

Electric vehicles can be recharged at no fee in the Rebstock multi-storey car park – you only pay the parking fee (type 2 connections). As the number of parking spaces is limited, we ask you to book in good time via emobil@messefrankfurt.com.

By train.

You can reach the IAA from Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof on foot (approx. 15 min.), by taxi or by public transport. The Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V. (VDA) in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn offers a DB event ticket for an exclusive fixed price (valid from 10 September to 26 September 2017). The price of a single ticket in all long-distance trains is € 49.50 / € 79.50 for a specific train and € 69.50 / € 99.50 valid for all trains.

By coach and public transport.

Long-distance coaches stop in the city centre close to the central station (Hauptbahnhof). From here you can get to the fairgrounds either on foot (approx. 15 min.), by taxi or by public transport: take a number 16 or 17 tram, or S-Bahn train no. S3, S4, S5 or S6 to the “Messe” station. Or take the U4 underground to Festhalle/Messe.

By plane.

From Frankfurt am Main (FRA) airport, you can take a taxi to the fairgrounds (approx. 20 min.) or an S-Bahn train to Hauptbahnhof – then walk (approx. 15 min.), or take a taxi or use public transport.

Apps for the IAA.

Here we would like to recommend three Mercedes-Benz apps which are sure to make life easier for you when you arrive. These are: mytaxi, car2go and moovel – three mobility apps which will guarantee you a stress-free, comfortable journey to the fairgrounds and help you to remain mobile in Frankfurt anytime.
