Impressive dance moves.

It’s the stroke of midnight at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The night watchman takes a final, thorough glance at the assembled exhibits before returning to his station for a quick break. The mannequins on display make the most of his moment of inattention to come alive and shake their limber limbs. Their breath-taking dance performance past the Mercedes-Benz exhibits splices classical ballet with sharp hip-hop moves to infuse the elegant halls with plenty of edge and a club-style atmosphere.

The night watchman.

Startled by a sudden noise, the night watchman checks his security monitor and catches a glimpse of the performance. He races to the rooms, only to notice that … well, find out for yourself in the video above.

New York Fashion Week.

The extravagant short by US director Ace Norton is part six of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Creatives video series. This latest episode centres on the dancers of The Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center. Founded in 1985 by Homer Bryant, this dance school champions diversity in both cast and dance styles. New York designer Sandy Liang made sure the dancers get to move in style: They sport outfits from her Spring/Summer 2016 and Resort 2017 collections. Sandy will present her upcoming Spring/Summer 2017 collection during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, 11th September 2016.
