Tested to the limits.
Paul Di Resta will be contesting his fifth DTM race at the Norisring since returning from F1: “My last race at the Norisring was several years ago, but I know the track very well from my time in the Formula 3 Euro Series as well as from my first four years in the DTM. So far, I’ve not had a lot of success at Nuremberg’s street circuit. The track appears to be quite straightforward with few turns but it’s not. Brakes in particular are put under a fair bit of stress on this short street circuit, but driver fitness too is often tested to the limits at the Norisring, since it can be very hot there in late June. In view of all these various factors, it’s always difficult to make a forecast about racing at the Norisring, but I think a good finish is possible with a bit of luck.”
