Best possible equipment.
The drivers and crew of the Mercedes-AMG DTM Team have long indulged a passion for cycling. As of today, they have access to the best possible equipment after Swiss cycling apparel specialist ASSOS became an official team partner. ASSOS will be supplying the Mercedes-AMG DTM drivers with hi-tech cycling equipment from the start of the 2015 season onwards. Cycling is an important component in the training programme of the drivers and crew, as it plays a vital role in getting them mentally and physically fit for the challenges ahead. ASSOS is based in the Swiss canton of Ticino and boasts a long history of innovation in the specialised field of cycling equipment. Thanks to continuous investment in research and development, ASSOS has been responsible for a number of innovations that have had a profoundly progressive influence on the bicycle industry.
It was ASSOS who designed the first cycling shorts made from Lycra®, the first carbon-fibre bike frame and the first shorts with ‘Elastic Interface’ insert. Today, ASSOS exports a comprehensive range of cycling products to more than 30 countries around the world. The integrity of the brand is safeguarded by carefully selected dealers who represent ASSOS and its products in their respective markets.
