DTM: Estoril Test - Day Two.

Lucas Auer fastest Mercedes-AMG driver on second day of testing.

The Mercedes-AMG DTM Team continued testing at the Circuito do Estoril on Thursday. On the second day of testing, the two DTM rookies Lucas Auer and Maximilian Götz were busy out on track once again and were joined for the first time this week by two winners DTM race winners, Christian Vietoris and Robert Wickens. Lucas Auer posted the fastest lap time of the four Mercedes-AMG drivers during the day’s two test sessions. He secured his personal best time of 1:32.748 in the morning session. Overall, the Mercedes-AMG quartet put in 282 laps on Thursday, the equivalent of 1,179 kms.

The team will conclude testing in Estoril on Friday. Daniel Juncadella, Gary Paffett, Christian Vietoris and Robert Wickens will take their places in the cockpits of their Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTMs for the third and final day of testing.

Smashing day.
