At the event, Wehrlein also posted demo runs in a Formula 1 Silver Arrow. Since the 2014 season, the youngest winner of a race in the 30-year history of the DTM has also been an official test and reserve driver

for the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 team. In that role, Wehrlein got spectators on Barbados all fired up by posting demo laps and performing doughnuts in a F1 W03 from the 2012 season.

    Perfect end to the season.

Pascal Wehrlein: “Participating in the Race of Champions for the first time was a great experience. The fact that I made it through to the final in my first appearance at the Race of Champions makes it all the more special. Hats off to David. He put in a fantastic performance in every car today and is a worthy winner. I’ve really enjoyed the races at the track in Bushy Park, and the demo laps in the Formula 1 Silver Arrow were just as much fun. I did everything I could to give the fans a good show and I hope that the spectators enjoyed it as much as I did. This weekend made the perfect end to a fantastic season for me.”
