Travego M: the new team bus.
Two days before the Germany versus USA match in Cologne, Mercedes-Benz is handing over the new team bus to the German national football team. In addition to the premiere of the Mercedes-Benz Travego M with a unique design at the local Mercedes-Benz branch, the team under the trainer Joachim Löw also took part in a photo shoot together with the team’s new companion. The team manager, Oliver Bierhoff, along with the national players, Jonas Hector, Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger, accept the new touring bus on behalf of the national team. The “MANNSCHAFT” will travel to the international match on 10th June in the new Mercedes-Benz Travego M. The exclusive, premium-roof bus is the flagship model among Mercedes-Benz buses and sets the standard for touring bus technology.
Wold-champion safety features.
The team bus also sports world-champion standard safety features. The Mercedes-Benz Travego M is the safest bus in the world. Its innovative Active Brake Assist 3 system (ABA 3), for example, is capable of initiating fully automatic emergency braking when it detects a stationary obstacle. Furthermore, the Travego M also features the world’s first predictive cruise control system capable of steering the vehicle’s transmission: the Predictive Powertrain Control (PPC). PPC utilizes GPS and current vehicle data such as the total weight and torque to control the engine and transmission and provide the most economical and environmentally friendly engine mobility for the route ahead.
The perfect synergy of technology, dynamics, safety and efficiency distinguishes the Mercedes-Benz Travego M.
