When the legendary Augusta National Golf Club invites the world’s best golfers to take part in the Masters in April each year, they all follow the call: ambitious young talents, established tour veterans and legendary winners. In short, the world’s most successful golfers make their way to the US city of Augusta. The Masters is the world’s most prestigious golf Tournament, and the Green Jacket awarded to the winner is the most coveted trophy in the golfing world. Since 2008 Mercedes-Benz has been a proud partner of the Masters in numerous respects.

Exclusive Mobility for the Masters.

During the week of the Tournament, Mercedes-Benz ensures exclusive mobility covering all aspects of the Masters. All the players and a number of selected guests each have a vehicle at their personal disposal during the course of the event. This service will also be provided for the four Mercedes-Benz brand ambassadors Rickie Fowler (USA), Bernhard Langer (Germany), Jon Rahm (Spain) and Haotong Li (China), who are competing in the Tournament. Each of them will drive a G-Class during the Masters.


A lifelong invitation.

The motto for the new G-Class “Stronger than Time” perfectly fits the German golfing professional Bernhard Langer, who has regularly taken part in the Masters since 1982 and wrote golfing history with his second victory 25 years ago. Langer secured a lifelong invitation to take part with his victories in 1985 and 1993. His consistently good results show his undiminished ambition as he plays for victory year after year.

Rickie Fowler, Jon Rahm and Haotong Li are competing.

One of this year’s favourites is American Rickie Fowler, who has not yet achieved his grand breakthrough in the Masters. During the current season, Fowler has repeatedly demonstrated that he is in top-class shape. Following his debut in 2017, the Spaniard Jon Rahm, who lives in Arizona, is once again competing in the Masters this year. Currently third in the world rankings, he will be travelling to Augusta in a very confident mood. The quartet is rounded off by the exceptionally talented Haotong Li from China, who secured his invitation to the Masters by finishing third place in “The Open” last year. In February 2018 the only 22-year-old Li showed that this was no accident by winning the PGA European Tour Event in Dubai, which made him the first Chinese player in golfing history to reach the world’s Top 50.

Together with the professional golfers, these customers will also experience another exclusive guest at the Masters: the new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4MATIC+ 4-Door Coupé.
