Kaymer is one of the favourites.
The German golf star and Mercedes-Benz Brand Ambassador Martin Kaymer is also taking part in the PGA Championship. Born in Dusseldorf, Kaymer has also won the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in 2010. Kaymer lifted the iconic Wanamaker Trophy after a dramatic playoff win over American Bubba Watson. The 30-year-old golfer went on to win the 2014 US Open. And a strong finish at The British Open last month, where he finished T12 after carding a final round 68 at St. Andrews, puts him amongst the favourites to add a third Major to his haul.
Fowler for the US.
Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz USA Brand Ambassador and star golfer Rickie Fowler will be aiming to record his first Major win in front of a passionate home crowd. Fowler finished T3 in Valhalla at last year’s PGA Championship but is in fine form following his PLAYERS Championship win at TPC Sawgrass (Florida) in May and his recent victory at the Scottish Open at Gullane.
