Nico Rosberg, Martin Kaymer & The Perfect Drive.
Rosberg and Kaymer want to know the answer.
They want to know the answer: MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One driver Nico Rosberg goes head-to-head with two-time major winner and Mercedes-Benz Brand Ambassador Martin Kaymer as they test their sporting skills in a series of exclusive challenges under the motto “The Perfect Drive”. The pair are being put through their paces on the race track and golf course for the five-part series.
Mercedes-AMG GT S:
Fuel consumption combined: 9.6-9.4 l/100 km;
combined CO₂ emissions: 224-219 g/km.*
Race track and golf course will decide.
In the first challenge as part of “Rosberg, Kaymer & The Perfect Drive”, fans see Nico and Martin set fastest lap times in the Mercedes-AMG GT S at Mercedes-Benz World, before attention turns to the golf course for Challenge two – a “Nearest to the Pin” contest. The third challenge in the series is a lap against the clock in the F1 simulator with Nico and Martin battling it out on the iconic Silverstone circuit, then it’s back to the golf course for a putting show-down. “It was great to see Nico’s abilities on the golf course and I hope I wasn’t that bad on the race track either,” said Martin Kaymer with a smile. Nico Rosberg added: “It was a lot of fun doing these challenges with Martin. As sportsmen we both love to compete. And to win, of course.”
Special test in the event of a tie.
Should scores be level after the four challenges, a special golf and driving combination test will be devised to decide who will be crowned the winner. The two Mercedes-Benz stars will need to demonstrate skill, precision and a passion for perfection to overcome their opponent.
As if that pressure wasn’t enough, the runner up will donate some of his own signed merchandise to the winner’s online fans.
The first challenge is decided.
The first challenge entitled “Fastest Lap” has now been released, with the remaining films in the series being launched across Mercedes-Benz social media channels over the upcoming weeks.
