The next generation Sprinter stands for efficient mobility.

Changing mobility and progressive digitisation demand new mobility solutions – time to update the Sprinter.

Mobility in the age of digitisation.

The proven van from the brand with the star has always been a pioneer in the market. The third generation of the classic van has now been updated for the digital future. Ulf Zillig is the overall project manager for the Sprinter at Mercedes-Benz Vans. His team ensures that the new Sprinter is developed and produced within the schedule for the project.

It was essential to maintain Mercedes-Benz’s high standards of quality while simultaneously setting new standards in terms of efficiency. The new Sprinter focuses on fully networked mobility in order to fulfil the requirements of the 21st century in the van segment.

The new Sprinter provides customised solutions.

The emphasis is on individual solutions for diverse requirements that also contribute to enhancing both efficiency and productivity. That is why the new generation of the Sprinter is completely based around integrated mobility solutions. According to Ulf Zillig, one of the most important strategic goals of the project was to ensure that the vehicle was highly adaptable to meet the customers’ needs.

“With every new Sprinter, we want to offer precisely the right mobility solution for every customer in every industry and for every transport job,” he explains.
