Efficient duo.

The self-employed driver Yeungwai Wong from Hong Kong has been in the logistics business for 25 years. His work requires a truck with a high level of comfort and high efficiency for long trips through conurbations. With his new Actros 2640 he is a Euro VI pioneer in Hong Kong.

The city aims to withdraw trucks from service that only comply with older Euro emission standards. Mr Wong is thus setting a self-confident example for the future at the container port.

“I transport containers with electrical appliances and handbags from the provinces bordering Hong Kong, but also minerals  to Hong Kong and Southern China. Everyone suffers from the smog in the densely populated Pearl River Delta. With my Euro VI Actros, I help protect the environment. The fact that it also has extremely low diesel consumption is really good.  The other drivers are so impressed by my truck that they often take photos.”
