After trying out the on-road exercises in the first part of Episode J, Marc and Felix leave the asphalt and head off-road at the G-Class Experience Center in Graz. In this new INSIDE AMG episode, we take a look behind the scenes of the record lap. Check it out! With an official time of 6.43.616 minutes for the 20.6 kilometre long track and 6.48.047 minutes for the entire track of 20.832 kilometres, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is officially the fastest production car on the Nürburgring!

With the help of our vehicle experts, we go into detail to discuss the importance of proper vehicle setup for a record breaking lap time in the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. In this episode, Felix talks with Dirk, the head of tire development, about fine-tuning high-performance tyres. Like the rest of the car, the tyres must deliver top performance at all times. Markus, vehicle dynamics engineer at Mercedes-AMG, is an expert for vehicle development. He shows us the important key differences between the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series and the Mercedes-AMG GT R.
