    ECO display function

With an energy-efficient driving style, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 30 percent. In many Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the animated ECO display in the multifunction display helps you. It analyses your driving style and helps to optimise your individual consumption.

What does that mean for me?

Just call up the ECO display via the steering wheel buttons before driving. Gentle acceleration, a constant speed and predictive coasting earn points and help you to lower your individual consumption.

    Better aerodynamics ensure better efficiency

Good airflow characteristics are crucial for low fuel consumption under everyday conditions. Therefore, we use a variety of aerodynamic optimisations. Click through the gallery to check them out.

    Diffuser and underbody

Aerodynamically optimised rear mufflers with subsequent diffusers improve the flow of air under the underbody, which helps to lower the consumption.

    AERO wheels

In many of our vehicles, specially developed AERO tyres are offered, which reduce consumption with their particularly low-friction rolling behaviour.

In combination with AERO rims, which have significantly better aerodynamics due to their striking design and predominantly closed surfaces, the effect is even more pronounced.

    World champion

Nobody is more aerodynamic. The new A-Class Saloon defends the world record. With a cw-value of 0.22 and a frontal area of 2.19 m², the new A-Class Saloon achieves the lowest air resistance of all production vehicles worldwide, thus defending the original world record of the CLA Coupé.

    Particle filter

What now is standard for Diesel engines is now available for gasoline engines: with Euro 6d-Temp comes the particle filter. The system directs the exhaust flow into a honeycomb structure, where it deposits the particles and effectively reduces emissions of fine soot particles. Under appropriate driving conditions, the particle filter regenerates itself continuously.
